Common FAQ-questions & FAQ-answers about Bespoke
We’ve gathered answers to our most common inquiries here. If you have additional questions about the Velour & Waza experience, our team is always available to help.
What makes the Velour & Waza bespoke process different?
Unlike many shops that use generic templates, our master tailors with decades of experience draft a unique paper pattern for your body. We focus on “Quiet Luxury”Full canvas or Half Canvas through hand-finished details and multiple fittings to ensure a natural drape that machine-made suits cannot replicate.

How long does it take to make a bespoke suit?
A true bespoke masterpiece typically requires 2 to 5 days. This allows time for meticulous hand-cutting and at least two essential fittings to refine the silhouette.
Do you offer 24-hour express tailoring?
While we recommend 3–5 days for the best fit, we can offer an express 24-hour service for urgent needs. Please mention your timeline during your initial consultation so we can confirm feasibility based on fabric availability.
How many fittings will I need?
Most clients require two to three fittings. Your first is often a “baste fitting” in a partially constructed garment, allowing us to adjust the balance and drape before the suit is finalized
Is an appointment necessary?
We recommend booking an appointment so our master tailors can provide a calm, dedicated consultation without rushing. Walk-ins are welcome if our schedule permits.

Which fabrics do you recommend for the Bangkok heat?
For tropical climates, we recommend lightweight linen, breathable cotton, or high-twist tropical-weight wools. These fabrics allow for maximum airflow while maintaining a sharp, professional look.

Do you carry luxury fabric houses?
Yes, we offer premium selections from world-renowned mills, including Loro Piana, Dormeuil, Drago, and Vitale Barberis Canonico.
Can I choose my own linings and buttons?
Absolutely. Personalization is a hallmark of bespoke. You can select from a wide variety of silk linings, horn buttons, or Mother of Pearl to make the garment truly yours.
Can you replicate a design from a photo?
Yes, we can replicate specific designs or silhouettes from photos. While an exact fabric match isn’t always possible, we will help you find the closest high-quality alternative from our collection.
Do you tailor bespoke clothing for women?

Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide via DHL or FedEx. Many international clients have their finished garments couriered home to save space in their luggage.
Will you keep my measurements on file?
Yes. We maintain a digital and physical record of your unique pattern and measurements. This allows for seamless re-ordering from anywhere in the world.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard,), and modern digital payments like Wise.
What is the difference between Fused, Half-Canvas, and Full-Canvas?
We specialize in Full-Canvas and Half-Canvas construction. Unlike “fused” (glued) suits found in tourist traps, canvassed suits use a natural horsehair layer that allows the jacket to breathe and mold to your body over time.
What if the fit isn't perfect after I take it home?
Minor adjustments and fit refinements during the fitting process are included. We stand by our craftsmanship and will advise on any necessary minor tweaks to ensure long-term satisfaction.
How should I care for my bespoke garment?
Always use a shaped wooden hanger, dry clean only sparingly, and let the fabric “rest” between wears. Use a steamer rather than a heavy iron to maintain the hand-pressed shape of the lapels.
